Join us for the dedication of the Recess Inn's History Room to beloved teacher Jim Hill. Mr. Hill was a meticulous record-keeper, and we are fortunate to have considerable memorabilia of the Ethel School and our area due to his efforts. At the same time, we will be dedicating a special book case, the Community Histories Library, to Warren “Jack” Lee. Much of the history of Ethel is known due to Jack’s decades-long efforts that culminated in the book A History of Ethel: 1888 – 1988. His passion for Ethel and belief in our future was contagious. The event will begin with a speaker on our area's history next door in the Ethel Community Church, followed by the room and library dedication to Mr. Hill and Mr. Lee, respectively, and a reception at the Recess Inn.
